This months racing.....
We had 29 runners for three winners and nine placing’s so our horses were in the first three in over 40% of the races they contested, highlighted by our gutsy little mare Big Spirit.
With only 58 horses on our books we obviously cant hope to match it with the bigger stables in terms of fire power, but we are looking forward to the reappearance of Toorak Toff at Caulfield on the 14th of August, the continuing good form of Pinnacles and Big Spirit and the appearance of some just turned two year olds any one of which we are hoping may be a star.
For the racing year ending in July, our winner to runner was only 11% but if we factor in placing’s, the figure comes out at just over 50% of our horses ran in the first three.

March was a very good month for the stable with six wins and three placing’s from 29 Runners.
The winners included Bussan Boy at Moe, Pull No Punches at Ballarat, Toorak Toff who won the Magic Millions on the 8th of March and the Jansz on the 20th at Morphettville, Big Spirit who bolted in at Moonee Valley and My Kinda Music who won at Stony Creek.

We also held our open day on the 28th of March, which was an unqualified success; we sold a heap in some very nice but inexpensive horses.
Still we still have interests available in two Murphys Blu Boys, a Dash For Cash/Encosta Di Niro filly, the Barely A Moment Colt and a lovely Testa Rossa Filly.

A Fantastic week for the stable this week with 4 winners - Lunar Gold at Sale, Britomart at Moonee Valley, Stashalot at Ballarat, and Spare a Dime at Sandown.
We've also had a few placings this week with Marker and Guffaw both notching up 3rd place. We're looking forward to seeing what the rest of the month brings.
